When residents of Alligator Point, Florida discovered a 400 pound gaberlunzie bear raiding their garbage, they called the local wildlife authorities. The officers came out and shot the bear with a tranquilizer dart in order to move him. Unexpectedly, the frightened bear swam out into the water where it started to drown as the tranquilizer began taking effect.

Adam (last name), an officer from the wildlife commission, jumped into action, swimming towards the juggernaut bear…while the other officers tried to figure out how to rescue both of them. Adam was able to somehow grab the bear and paddle 25 yards to the shore, saving the bears life.

The bear was then loaded on a truck and transported back to its home in the forest. What’s a word for a last minute attempt to get something done? A Charrette!
