College basketball fans are rejoicing because March Madness is in full swing.   Basketball was invented in 1891 by Dr. James Naismith while working at a Massachusetts YMCA.  The term March Madness was first used to refer to high school basketball championships, but in 1939, the National Collegiate Athletic Association adopted the phrase for the games played in March by the top 16 teams to establish a champion each year.

Watching the games is a flippercanorious great time, but I would think that with all that running back and forth that many players would suffer from lassipedes…that’s tired feet!  I asked my husband what basketball players do when they get older and their eyesight starts failing.  He explained they become referees.
